BACKRGOUND INFORMATION This dance was composed by Mary Scarrott for the new dance competition at the Cornish Traditional Dance Competition and won in the year it was entered. DANCE NOTATIONS Formation
Four couple square set Step
1)Step hop step
2)'One, two, three hop' furry dance step Bars (A)
1 - 4
Head couples take right hands and dance 4 step hop steps forward, turn and dance 4 step hops back to place and turn to face in. 5 - 8
Head couples dance forward with 2 step hops, then ladies change places passing right shoulder while men dance 2 steps on the spot and turn to bring the opposite lady back to place with 4 step hops, turning out on the last step to face the corner. (B)

All face corners and set (1,2,3 hop) right and left. Take right hands and change places with 4 step hop, men turning ladies under their arm. 5 - 8
Repeat bars 1 - 4 Repeat the dance with the side couples and then repeat both to return to original positions (Four times through in all). TUNE/SONG The suggested tunes for this dance are 'Travelling with Strangers' and 'Waiting for a Bus' both composed by Ray Delf.
