HOW DOES IT WORK?
This section of the An Daras web site is totally dependent on YOUR contributions! It is intended to be a working site that reflects the richly diverse nature of folk arts events in Cornwall.
The Customs and Events section is divided into 3 separate areas:
1) Customs/Traditions
Any customs or traditions that have developed in Cornwall over the years, some of which may now have sadly died out.
2) Annual/One Off Events
Existing events in Cornwall that are annual or 'one off', which are either continuing traditions or newly developed traditions.
3) Regular Clubs and Sessions
This section details regular formal and informal meetings or sessions where you can come and watch, and maybe even join in with dance, music, language e.t.c!
CONTRIBUTE!
This site is intended to be constantly updated, and we would be very grateful for your contributions in order to reflect the full extent of Cornish folk arts events:
• If you are aware of a custom or tradition that we have failed to include,
• If you have an annual (or one off) event to include, or
• If you organise or attend a regular club or session which is not already included
Please email and we'll add it to the site.
