Aberfest

Aberfest is a Cornish – Breton festival that takes place every other Easter in Falmouth and other parts of Cornwall. The next event is AberFest’2008

Events will include:- Cornish and Breton Wrestling, Breton Cooking, Cornish and Breton Dance, Cornish and Breton Music, Cornish and Breton singing, street performances, processions, workshops, Grand Cornish Showcase and the spectacular “AberFest Noz.” 

AberFest alternates with a sister festival in Brittany. An important aspect of the AberFest in Cornwall and the Briezh – Kernow Festival in Brittany, is the family relationships and family focus. Many life long friendships have been formed between people in Cornwall and our Celtic Cousins. 

Trevithick Day The main streets of Camborne are closed to traffic in order to host the attractions of Street Stalls, Choirs, Bands, Clowns, Buskers, Musicians, Dancers, Street Theatre, Processional Dances, Displays of Old Vehicles, Model Exhibitions, Fairground Rides, Floral Art Festival, Ride-on Model Steam Train, Stationery Engines Display, etc.etc.
